Liege Proofed 12mm, Pin Fire, 6 Shot Double Action Revolver With Octagonal Barrel Marked 'Acier Fondu' (Cast Steel) & Ornate Tooled Foliate Decoration. Sn 17880 - 17880

This is an excellent, 12mm, pin fire, 6 Shot Revolver. It is side gate loading with a 5 ½” Octagonal barrel. The barrel is marked 'Acier Fondu' (Cast Steel). The cylinder is Liege proved. The breech, cylinder and frame have engraved panels of curling vines on stippled ground. The pistol’s firing mechanism works correctly in both single & double action is double action. It is side gate loading and has lanyard ring and captive steel ejector rod. It has a triangular blade fore sight and notched hammer rear sight. The grips are ebony with chequered panels.
