A Liege proofed 6 shot 7mm double action pin fire revolver number 13878 made C1865. It has an octagonal 3” barrel. The barrel is marked “CHAMELOT & DELVIGNE INon Btee”. The cylinder has Liege proofs. The breech and cylinder are inlaid and overlaid with silver tendrils and leaves, the latter also engraved with medallions, the frame and stepped butt cap are profusely engraved with vine leaves, tendrils and scrolls. It has antique Ivory grips. The barrel’s bore is clean with crisp rifling. It has a folding trigger & blade fore sight. The pistol has the typical Chamelot & Delvigne type side loading gate and has a captive sliding ejector rod. The pistol's firing mechanism works as it should in both single and double action.
