    ~ Malayan Kris C1870 With Watered blade ~


    A Malayan kris circa 1870. The knife features a long thin watered blade with carved wooden hilt in the form of a mythical beast. The kris is presented in its carved wooden scabbard decorated with leaves and vines.

    ~ Dimensions ~

    The kriss in its scabbard measures 21 inches(54cm) The blade measures 14.5 inches (37cm). The piece weighs 615g.

    ~ Condition ~

    The kriss is in good condition for its age. The wooden carving is crisp and clear and in overall good condition. The main body of the scabbard is in a slightly different colour and carving style to the top of the piece and the hilt. The blade is intact but showing its age.
