Description
Mauser model 1896 rifle converted to .410 guage and is available on a shotgun certificate. This quite rare gun is in very good condition and may well have been supplied to the Boers by Mausewr under contract and was originally chambered in 7x57 caliber. The internal mag plate has been welded solid to comply with regulations regarding these conversions so as to be Section 2. It has been re chambered to take 3" cartridges.
