**This Firearm is deactivated to one of the pre- 2nd May 2017, UK specifications. As such it can only be sold and exported in its present state to customers in NON- EU countries including the Isle of Man and Channel Islands. Customers based in the UK & other EU countries can purchase on our lay-away scheme. The weapon will then be brought up to the EU specification and the relevant certificate obtained prior to the transfer of ownership and delivery**These rare pistols were manufactured in from 1934-1945 for issue to Kriegsmarine Units. There were 4 variations of these Kriegsmarine pistols with different grip configurations and markings. Our example is the 2nd variant in the seral number range of 1936-1945 production with correct 2nd variant wrap around 1 piece chequered panels grip in excellent condition, correct 2nd variant Kriegsmarine Eagle with swastika & ‘M’ mark and ‘O’ letter prefix Kriegsmarine property number marks on both the pistol and its magazine. ‘O’ and ‘N’ prefix Kriegsmarine property marks have been noted on these pistol’s (see page 165 of Axis pistols by Still). The pistol is in excellent condition with original blue finish. It measures 6” overall. The left side of the slide is crisply stamped Cal 7.65 DRPuAP’ and the frame with 2nd variant Kriegsmarine Eagle with swastika mark. The right of the slide has number ‘554477’ & ‘MauserWerke AG Oberndorf A.N’. The frame has the Mauser cartouche. The back of the frame is numbered ‘47’ and the front strap has the ‘O’ prefix Kriegsmarine property number ‘O4463’. The pistol is complete with original removable magazine which is marked with Mauser cartouche and Kriegsmarine property number ‘O4463’. Deactivated to early UK specification in 1991 the pistol cocks and dry fires. The pistol is accompanied by its original correct brown leather holster. It has a single retaining strap with eyelet on the body which fastens to a single brass stud on the front of the holster. The front aspect of the holster's body has a single open top magazine carrier, the top of which is covered when the flap is closed. The rear of the holster has a single broad belt loop. The rear of the holster is crisply impressed with Kriegsmarine Eagle with swastika ‘M’ mark (see page 170 figure 47f of Still’s book where a holster with the same Kriegsmarne mark is illustrated). All stitching and leather of the holster is clean and intact. The rear of the holster has a period hand written ink name which appears to be ‘Gordes’ above other indistinct lettering (most likely the name of the Kriegsmarine Officer issued with the holster). The price for this very rare Kriegsmarine pistol with holster both in superb condition includes UK delivery and deactivation certificate. Sn 18048:20
