On Auction : Pair of French Percussion Pistols 1850 in case ( seems turned from flintlock?). Walnut checkered root stocks ( one brighter served more than the other) ,carved wood effects on the breech, steel barrel eight fold, with same original blue finishing present with GOLD INLAID floral decorations still visible. smooth bore , signed by MIRIEUT ( UNDER BARREL) , Plain steel garrisons .The lock is plain, also the hammer .( One hammer seems not exactly equal to the other, maybe substituted in his life time?. Working fine, very strong springs ( nipples were substituted in his life time).Rods not original.Signed MIRIEUT , end XVIII century.No ship out of E.U. and FinlandIn a Mahogany wooden case, with key and wood possession scutcheon not used ( this is not is original case) . Interior lined with velvet, compartmentalized: Vintage Brass Powder flask , XIX century Bullet mold .Apocryphal Oil bottle, screwdriver,nipple box.Length : Pistols : 32 cm.Case: 38 X 25 X 7 cm.Caliber: 15 mm.Weight: +- 3,5 Kg
