Hex receiver mosin nagant ~~Izhevsk stamp on barrel and receiver so pre WW1

Izhevsk Ordnance Factory 1892-1919

Matched bolt, Receiver and Barrel serial number, correct period stock pre 1920

Captured by the Germans from the Russians then sent as aid to Turkey in ‘17 to keep them in the war

The example pictured here was fashioned from a M91 that retains it's early style stock and sling swivels. The nose cap and the extreme forend of the stock have been removed to allow the use of a german socket bayonet as pictured.

This rifle also has turkish markings on the rear sight left hand side,
