an Imperial M91 possibly converted to carbine configuration by Czechoslovakia post WW2 in an effort to rationalise their inventory of obsolete rifles. Made in 1914 at the Izhevsk factory. Very rare and not to be confused with Soviet era M38 refurb carbines. Interestingly all M91/38 conversions were originally made into M91/44 with integral bayonets. Before being surplused these bayonets were removed. There are only a handful of these rifles in existence that retained their bayonets.
