This is an INERT, unfired, virtually mint Oerlikon 35mm KDF (35 x 228) HVAP-DS-T (High Velocity Armour Piercing ¬- Discarding Sabot - Trace) round used mainly in a twin mounting controlled by the Skyguard radar controlled anti-aircraft system. This round has a black APDS projectile stencilled in white 35K HVAP-DS -T over DM 23 over LOS OE-31-Pilot B-X , is double crimped into a steel green finished case.
