~ Pair Of 19th Century Bali Kris Daggers And Scabbards ~

A very fine pair of 19th century Balinese Kris, one has a straight blade and the other is wavy. The hilts and sheaths are of dark wood deeply carved with dancing figures and with Bonspatti masks amidst scrolling foliage.

~ Condition ~

Both the swords and scabbards are in excellent condition. The wooden parts have no chips. The guard of the scabbard of the straight bladed Kris is unstuck.

~ Dimensions ~

The wavy blade Kris is 44 cm (21.25 inches) in length, with a 42.5 cm (17 inches) blade.

The straight blade Kris is 49.5 cm (19.0 inches) in length, with a 37 cm (14.5 inches) blade.

The set weighs 1.43 Kg.
