Circa 1830. This pistol was manufactured at one of the French Military arsenals and is engraved on the lockplate Manuf Roy De Maubeuge. Rounded military skull-crusher butt-cap, matching military style trigger-guard, fore-end band and side-plate. Complete with its correct steel ramrod. The number 237 stamped on the side of the barrel and the matching number impressed into the wooden stock. Approx .62 calibre. Overall length 10 inches. Good condition and working order. Ref 1267.
