Made with solid brass frames and raised waterproof pans. Made by the London gun-maker TIPPING and engraved on one side of the breech with his name & LONDON engraved to the other side. The walnut grips inlaid overall with silver wire scroll decoration, inlaid silver leaves and flowers. Both pistols stamped with British proof marks under the frames. Sliding top safeties. A rare opportunity to buy a good authentic pair of silver inlaid Antique Flintlock pistols, by a known maker in such good condition. The actions are both in good working order with spring loaded drop-down folding triggers. Overall length 6 inches. Ref 1570. A nice addition to any collection.
