Marked on the top of 1.75 inch barrel with the makers name Colt's Pt. F.A Mfg Co. Hartford Ct. USA. Spur trigger. Birds head wooden grips. The new series of Colt pocket revolvers was called the New Line series. These guns were designed by William Mason of Colt and were covered under US Patent Number 155,095. Mason was the man responsible for many of Colt’s early cartridge revolver designs and alterations. Overall length 7 inches. The nickel plating in excellent condition with just a few areas of minor lifting. Good working action. A very crisp example of a Colt rimfire revolver retaining nearly all of its original nickel finish. Ref 2695.
