Circa 1840. Complete with its original steel ramrod fitted to the side of the 3 inch barrels. The side plates engraved with the maker's name D A Blake on one side and London on the other side. Blake & Co had a workshop in London at 35 Upper East Smithfield circa 1855-1864. Drop down folding trigger. Lions head silver butt cap. Stamped with London view and proof marks to the barrels. Silver oval shaped escutcheon fitted into the rear of grip. Dolphin shaped hammer. A decorative pistol showing little signs of use or wear. One replacement screw to the top strap. Action in good working order. Length 6.75 inches. Ref 2806. This is an obsolete antique item and is sold as a collectors item only. No Licence is required in the United Kingdom.
