Description

Largest selection of genuine antique weapons for sale in UK. See our website andrewbottomley.com. Ref 2807. A scarce percussion side-hammer pistol with folding bayonet, made by Fenton of London. Circa 1840. The top of the 3.5 inch barrel engraved with the makers name Fenton London and fitted with a folding spring bayonet on the underside of the barrel. Decorative engraving to the side plates and trigger guard. Stamped with two British proof marks. Finely chequered grips with silver diamond shaped escutcheon. Some light wear to the frame and some signs of use, one screw re-placed in butt. Action in working order. Overall length with bayonet closed is 8.5 inches. Ref 2807.
