The carved wooden hilt with a top mounted cairngorm fitted in a silver surround. A military badge of the BLACK WATCH regiment fitted into the centre of the wooden grip.The 4 mounts of sterling silver and with a full silver Edinburgh hallmark to the back of the largest mount, all four mounts are engraved with patterns. Also stamped with the makers initials H. T. and the date letter D inside a shaped shield. Complete in its original matching silver mounted scabbard. Overall length 6 inches in scabbard. The blade 2.5 inches in length. The badge showing some slight wear. Ref 2823.
