A Very fine and large size 19th century Romantic dagger with an embossed finely detailed hilt and a short cross-guard terminating in birds heads. The solid hilt in the form of a 17th century Musketeer. Complete in its original matching brass scabbard fitted with a hanging ring. This knife shows hardly any signs of use or wear. An excellent and large example of a good 19th century romantic knife with Musketeer interest. Very good condition. Blade almost mint condition. Length 7 inches. Overall length in scabbard 13 inches.
