Lock marked; "CROWN" over 'WR' (King William IV) and a small crown over a broad arrow (Government Ownership mark). "B O" (Board of Ordnance) over the "Broad Arrow" stamped into the stock just above the tail of the lock plate. Round steel barrel fitted with a steel swivel ramrod. Marked on top with two London proof marks. Brass trigger guard, skull crusher butt cap, and matching military side-plate. This is a Standard military pattern flintlock Pistol that would have been carried by a British officer during the mid 19th century. Length approx 15 inches. In very good condition and in working order. Ref 3151. This is an obsolete antique item and is sold as a collectors item only. No Licence is required in the United Kingdom.
