NOCK of London. The famous Henry Nock gun-maker had a workshop in London circa 1741-1804. The pistols are full-stocked and engraved on each lockplate "H. NOCK" and on each barrel "LONDON". Both pistols are in extremely good condition, showing hardly any sign of use and are fitted with sliding safeties & horn tipped wooden ramrods. Barrel lengths are approximately 8.5 inches and still retaining much of their original colour. Calibre is .60 cal. This set comes in an original 18th century baize lined antique wooden pistol carrying case and is in very fine condition, the pistols are in excellent working order. The set is complete with a pincer bullet mold and an original copper 3 way pistol powder flask. This is the type of cased set of pistols that would have been owned by an officer or a gentleman during the late 18th century.
