(possibly custom made for a military officer or Naval officer). Circa 1780-1820. Brass fore-end band, side plate and trigger guard. Decorative engraving to the brass re-enforcing strip running down the grip, terminating at the butt cap. Action in working order (sticks slightly sometimes). A few dings and scratches during it's working life otherwise in good condition. Overall length 9 inches. Ref 4023. This is an obsolete antique item and is sold as a collectors item only.
