A scarce Napoleonic era French Military Flintlock Officer's Pistol manufactured at one of the the French Military arsenals dating from the time of the Napoleonic Wars, Circa 1790-1815. Rounded brass military skull-crusher butt-cap, matching brass military style trigger-guard, fore-end band and side-plate. Action in excellent working order. Complete with its steel ramrod. This type of heavy calibre flintlock pistol were carried by French naval and cavalry officers during the era of the Napoleonic campaigns of the late 18th-early 19th century. Overall length 14.5 inches. A few minor old dents to woodwork. In battle ready condition and working order. Ref 6184. This is an obsolete antique item and is sold as a collectors item only.
