A good English single barrelled Percussion pocket pistol with bag shaped chequered grips, manufactured by T. (Thomas) B. Monck of Stamford Lincolnshire and engraved with the makers name on the side plate. The frame of nickle silver, with an octagonal 2" screw-off barrel. Made around 1840- 1845. Stamped with London proof marks. The frame fitted with a slding top safety. One replaced screw in top of frame, otherwise the condition is very good. Overall length approx 7 inches. Ref 7118.
