Retaining much original blued finish. Circa 1865. Complete with accessories including nipple key, bullet mold, cap tin, powder flask and oil bottle in its green baize lined wooden case. The cylinder with Liege proof marks. Overall size of case 15 x 9 inches. Pistol length approx 12.5 inches. Top of the case engraved U.S.A Med Dept in an oval brass plaque. Probably imported into the USA during the time of the American Civil War c. 1862-1865. The frame and side plate nicely engraved. Chequered wooden one piece grip. Barrel length 6.5 inches.
