Fantastic pre-Napoleonic Era German Military Flintlock Officers Pistol of Very Large size. Circa 1740-1790. Unusally large bore size approx .72 calibre. Brass trigger guard, 2 brass ramrod pipes. The very large brass buttcap with engraved decoration. In good overall condition. The lockplate marked with the makers name "JOHANES KAVCHEN". An age crack to the forend. Overall length approx 21 inches. Ref 7596
