A very rare wheel-Lock period flattened powder horn engraved with a hunting scene of figure and Deer. The hunter dressed in period costume and carrying a spear. The horn is approximately 14 inches overall length. The metal spout, spring and cut off are all in very good condition. A small horn priming charger is attached to a later leather carrying strap. This is an excellent example of its type. The metal belt hook is missing otherwise the whole piece is in very good condition. English or German - Circa 1580-1620. Ref 8528.
