Remington New Model Army Revolver 46 rimfire factory conversion. 1st type with no extractor rod. 8" oct barrel with bright bore and good rifling, no barrel address. 5 shot cylinder stamped PATENTED APRIL 3D 1855. Metal to nice smooth brown patina. Sound 2 piece wood grips. Gun is fitted with an unusual spur to hammer maybe for fanning action. Lots of letter and number stampings. Gun has original leather holster cut for fast draw. 3 click hammer with very strong spring. A superb old wild west revolver in superb condition and full working order.
