WW2 Era, Robert Klaas, Solingen, 1st Pattern German Luftwaffe Officer's Dagger And Scabbard With Hanging Chains And DRGM Marked Clasp. Sn 16741:8 - 16741:8

The Luftwaffe came into existence in 1935. Luftwaffe Officers were authorised to wear the 1934 Pattern Fliegerdolch (flier's dagger). This is a very good condition, original, 1st pattern WW2 Luftwaffe Officers dagger. It has the correct fittings, scabbard and chains. The dagger has dark leather grips with all binding wires present and tight. It has the correct Swastika pommel and stylised winged cross guard also with Swastika. It has a 12"dagger blade with original leather hilt washer and is nicely marked with the Robert Klaas Solingen name and logo (illustrated). It's original steel scabbard is covered with dark blue leather with nickel plated chape and locket. The scabbard is fitted with original hanging chains and belt clasp. The clasp is marked with quality assurance mark 'DRGM'. The price for this nice, complete Luftwaffe set includes UK delivery. Sn 16741:8
