This is an original hard to find Boer war era British Mounted Infantry / Cavalry Rifle Butt Leather Saddle Bucket For Martini & Lee Enfield Carbines & Rifles. Made of heavy duty brown leather it is open top with scalloped cut out to the front to accommodate the butt of a Martini or Lee Enfield carbine. It has 2 top leather securing straps with brass buckles and 2 side leather securing straps with brass buckles for saddle attachment. The bottom of the bucket has 2 purpose made drainage holes. All leather, stitching and rivets are present and intact. The body of the bucket is 7 ¾” height and it is 7 ¼” at its widest. The Martini IC1 Cavalry carbine illustrated in image 1 is not included but is available separately (our stock number A597). The price for this rare Boer War era saddle bucket includes UK delivery.
