Create my profile now!A beautiful boxed miniature Celtic Sword with etched blade by Wilkinson Sword. The Celtic culture and influence continues even to this day. Being great craftsmen they were able to make ornate swords. This design reflets the Celtic design that prevailed in the 9th and 10th centuries. The size of the sword derives from the Roman spatha, which the Celts adopted for their own use. The sword is well presented in a dark blue box measuring 11 1/4" x 3 1/2" x 2" which is embossed on the lid in gold with 'Wilkinson Sword' and the crossed swords. Inside the box there is a blue velvet base with locating loops for the sword. The sword measures 9 1/4" long and has a very attractive, polished stainless steel decorative etched blade on one side over three quarters of it's length. The ricasso has the 'Wilkinson Sword' crossed swords and Crown. Also inside the box is a 'Wilkinson Sword' card with a description and history of the Celtic Sword on one side. This is a very nice boxed presentation piece, it would also make a very nice letter opener, the price includes UK delivery.
