A nice Italian Army Officer's Dress Sword and Scabbard. It has a black grip with finger grooves and the grip strap has a knurled panel for thumb grip. It has a stepped pommel and the sword has traces of original nickel plating. It has a vented bowl guard. It's 34 1/2" tapering blade is beautifully etched on both sides with panels of banners and arms and Eagle with Crown. The riccaso is marked by the German manufacturer 'E&F Horster Solingen' & the reverse with 'HS & Sword' trademark. It's steel scabbard with 2 hanging ring and large shoe is undented and retains most of it's original nickel plating. Price includes UK delivery. Sn 8804
