This gun is a very fine example of its type in its original case with a full complement of accessories.
No serial numbers are visible.
The gun is marked twice with the "Tranter patent" mark.
The revolver has its blue finish and shows minimal signs of wear.
The chequered wooden grips are original and unworn.
The revolver has a solid cocking action and a lovely movement.
The revolver comes in its original Tranter beautiful dark oak case with plain brass escutcheon to the lid and the original interior.

The case measures 14.75 inches (38cm) long by 7.75 inches (20cm) wide and 2.5 inches (6.5cm) high. The complete set weighs 2.88 Kg.
The revolver has an overall length of 11.5 inches (29cm) with the barrel measuring 6 inches (15cm). It weighs 1 Kg.
~ Condition ~
This gun is in beautiful antique condition.
There is minimal wear to the surface and the gun has a very good action.
The case is all original with its felt lining.
All of the accessories look to be in decent condition.
The case has a lock and key which works well, also the hook fastenings are still intact and strong.
