This is an original Enfield Tower muzzle loading flintlock musket made sometime in the late 18th century or early 19th century. The action plate is stamped on the With Crown and 'Tower’ (Enfield). It has all original wood stock which has bumps and bruises consistent with age and use, brass butt plate, fore end block, ram rod flutes and trigger guard with extended tang. The musket also has its iron ramrod, sling swivels & block fore sight. The barrel’s smooth bore has staining and residue consistent with age and use. Total length is 53” with a 36” barrel. The barrel has proofs. The hammer is fitted with flint and the cocking and firing action works as it should. This is an antique muzzle loading flintlock musket and no licence is required to own it in the UK if retained as a part of a collection or display. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 16416:23
