This is an excellent, Inter war dated Mosin Nagant Rifle. These rifles were used by Russian troops during WW2. It has excellent undamaged metal work and all original wood furniture. The Breech housing is crisply stamped with Russian Script, Tula Arsenal mark and 1929 date. The weapon has its original cleaning rod, adjustable rear sight, block & blade fore sight, steel butt plate and is fitted with original webbing & leather sling. The rifle breech is numbered 74446. The butt plate, magazine plate and bolt have other un-matching numbers. Deactivated to UK/EU specification in 2020 the rifle’s bolt and trigger move. The rifle is accompanied by an original Mosin Nagant socket bayonet which has a sprung socket catch. The bayonet has a 17” cruciform blade and correct chisel tip. The socket is stamped with struck out numbers and number '1708'. The bayonet has a later leather scabbard with stitched seam & brass ball end chape. The leather has a small area of surface wear at the throat. The price includes UK/EU deactivation certificate and UK delivery. D 1456
