About our business
Ham & Petersham Rifle & Pistol Club, is a private shooting club based in Ham, near the River Thames and close to Ham House.
We are incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee so we are not a commercial business. According to an early Annual Report the club was officially founded on the 7th April 1906. (Although there is now evidence that the Club actually started as early as 1903.) In fact Charles Hanbury-Tracy, the 4th Lord Sudeley was the President of the Ham & Petersham Rifle & Pistol Club from its official inception in 1906 until his death.
