This is a very good original Victorian Police Hanger / Cutlass & scabbard. Manufactured by Parker (later Parker Field & Sons who had premises at 233 Holborn London C1850). It has a 23 ¾” blade with pronounced curve and fuller. The blade is clean and has an etched panel ‘W. Parker Warranted’. Its Shagreen handle is in excellent condition. It has a brass knuckle guard & stepped pommel. The overall length of the sword is 29 ½”. Its black leather scabbard is in nice undamaged condition with brass mounts. The upper mount has brass locket stud. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 12651
