A rare 1st series Webley Mark II Service Air Rifle with both .22 and .177 calibre barrels.
Only approximately 1000 of these 1st series rifles were made making this a scarce example especially with two barrels.
This rifle has been refinished in the past.
The serial number of the action is S359 the .22 barrel has the serial number S498 and the .177 barrel has the serial number S154 and dates this this rifles manufacture to circa 1932 -1934.
It has the ‘spring-clip’ barrel release and is fitted with a safety catch both of which were modified on later models.
It is in good overall condition and it cocks and fires with no issues as detailed it has been refinished and there areas on the action and barrel(s)that have signs of pitting.
The stamping’s are all and legible.
It is complete with its rear post aperture sight, twin flip-up leaf centre sight and fron postt sight all of which function correctly.
The stock is in average condition showing marks from usage there there are chips to the woodwork and near the butt pad which have caught the horn butt pad also.

It comes modern reproduction wooden box which compliments the rifle and which is fitted out to take both the rifle and its spare barrel.
Included are an opened tin of both .22 and .177 Webley Special Pellets and an empty tin ‘Youngs .303’ rust preventer oil.
