Create my profile now!This is an Argentinian 1909 Bolo machete with its scabbard. These were made by Weersberg Kirschbaum and Company in Solingen and is marked to the blade thus. The other side of the blade carries the Argentinean crest with MODELO ARGENTINO 1909. The spine carries a capital A and the crossguard a capital. The other side of the crossguard carries A/O 3202. The pommel carries an oval monogram with RA inside. The scabbard is blued steel and is free from dents or damage. The frog is made of brown leather and carries the Argentinian crest over E.A. and a makers name of MANUEL faintly stamped to the rear. These machetes were used by Argentinean elite troops in the jungle. The price includes UK delivery. ED 2543
