WW1 1914 British WD Wilkinson 1907 Pattern Bayonet With No.1 MK II Scabbard & 1938 Pattern Buff Webbing Frog. BAYO 454 - BAYO 454
An excellent early WW1 dated example of the Pattern 1907 bayonet for the SMLE rifle complete with scabbard & frog (see Skennerton item B235 pages 186-195. The ricasso of the bayonet is stamped by the manufacturer ‘Wilkinson’ and '3 14' (March 1914 date) together with King's crown GR (George Rex). The number 4 of the 14 mark has been over stamped by ‘1907’ (pattern) but is still visible. The reverse is stamped WD arrow inspection marks. The blade is clean and undamaged and it's wood grips are undamaged and perfectly secure. It is complete with its original No.1 MK II original steel mounted leather Scabbard. All stitching & leather of the scabbard are clean & intact. Also included is an original 1938 pattern buff webbing frog. The price includes UK delivery. BAYO 454
