    MINT, Cased, 3 Commemorative Etched Fairbairn Sykes 3rd Pattern FS Fighting Knives 50th Anniversary WW2 & Operation Desert Storm 1991 By William Rodgers Sheffield, WW2 1940-45 Holland Belgium France Numbered R8. Sn 17157 - 17157

    These full size FS daggers are made to the same exacting standards of specification and detail as FS knives used during WW2 with the addition etched blades. Each knife is near mint, measure 11 ¾” overall length and have blackened alloy or brass ribbed 3rd pattern FS hilts & blackened steel cross guards. 2 of the daggers are by the prestigious cutlers William Rodgers Sheffield. One of the Rodgers blades is etched ‘To Commemorate Operation Desert Storm 17 January 1991’ within scrolling banners, the other ‘To Commemorate The 50th Anniversary of World War II 1939-1945’ within scrolling banners. The cross guard of each of these knives bear the William Rodgers Sheffield England’ name. The third knife is by Crown Swords England who make quality commemorative blades. Both sides of this knife are etched. One side with commando carrying a WW2 sten gun above ‘1940-45 Holland Belgium France’ and has the Crown Swords England name & trade mark. The other side has ‘Le Maquis Francaises de L’ Interieur’ together with aircraft & cross device . The cross guard of this knife is stamped with letter ‘R’ and number ‘8’ . The daggers are contained in their purpose made wooden case. The case has a hinged lid and clasp fasteners. The inside of the case is lined with red felt & padded silk. The case is contoured to fit each knife. The lid of the case has an inlaid brass roundel. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 17157
