~ WW1 1907 Pattern Wilkinson Sword Bayonet and Scabbard ~
Here we have a wonderful bayonet manufactured during World War One.
This bayonet is nicely marked, it has the ‘1907’ pattern mark beneath the Crown and GR, the date mark “8 17 (August 1017) and the name Wilkinson stamped on one side of the ricasso. The other side bears three Enfield period inspectors marks, an broad arrow acceptance mark and a “28” mark (meaning that it has been reproof for service after the war’s end).
The grips are made of brown varnished wood.
It comes with its original brown leather scabbard.

The blade is 17 inches (43 inches) long.
The bayonet is 21 ¾ inches (56 cm) long.
The bayonet in its scabbard is 22 ¼ inches (56.5 cm) long.
The bayonet weighs 720 g.
~ Condition ~
This blade is in fairly good used condition with some pitting towards the tip.
The grips remain in good condition with the expected usage.
The catch button functions as intended.
The scabbard has some age to it and minor spots of paint from wherever it was stored by the previous owner.
