~ WW1 British Officers 1821 Pattern Sword of The Royal Artillery By Wilkinson ~
The sword is stamped with the serial number `86484`. Its edge is also marked `London Made`.
The blade is etched with scrolling arabesques on both sides.
One side the blade is etched with the sword-smiths name ‘Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London’, `By Warrant` the British coat of arms and the Royal Artillery cannon and Ubique badge.
The opposite side is etched with the RA standard, ‘Royal Artillery’ inscription, the mark `CCHALLEN.` and is marked with the proof star.
The grip is made of metal wired black shagreen.
The sword comes with its brown leather scabbard and suspension belt.

The blade length is 34 ¾ inches (88.5 cm) and the overall length of the sword is 41 ¾ inches (106 cm).
The overall length of the sword in its scabbard is 43 ½ inches (110.5 cm).
~ Condition ~
The blade is in fair condition for its age with some dark spots.
The hilt has lost its chrome.
The scabbard is in fair used condition, as seen in the pictures.
