This is an original, WW1 Era British Officers Private Purchase Extendable Folding Trench Periscope Mirror With Canvas & Leather Trimmed Pouch With Shoulder Strap Complete With 4 Spare Mirrors. There are no makers markings or dates. The size of the piece fully extended is 75cm. The metal hinged folding poles have a central wing nut which locks the pole straight or at an angle chosen by the user. The removable metal mirror casing with mirror slots onto the top of the pole securely. One of the pouches is padded and holds 4 original spare mirrors.
