    BladesBayonetsUsed£ 395

A new pattern Mauser Gew 98 sawback bayonet, made by the Wafeenfabrik Mauser A.G. Erfurt.

The bayonet is stamped with W beneath the crown, and 17 on the edge of the ricasso. So, a 1917 piece.
The piece comes in its original steel scabbard and with its black leather frog.

    ~ Dimensions ~

The blade length is 36.5cm and the total length is 48cm. The width of the bayonet is 5cm, and the overall width of the bayonet in its scabbard is 8cm, and the length is 51cm.

    ~ Condition ~

The blade developed age pitting, but remains nick free. The markings are still visible with the expected wear. The scabbard developed a patina, and has a few barely visible dents. The frog is partially worn.
