~ WW2 Era Case XX Bowie Knife ~
Here we have a really interesting combat knife from WW2, this knife was an issued knife to US soldiers in WW2 and is a fearsome Bowie knife.
The Bowie is made of steel with an alloy guard and a plastic grip. The construction is held in place with three brass pins.
The knife blade is a traditional Bowie shape with a meaty centre section tapering to a clipped point with a sharpened false edge.
The blade has two small fillers on each side.
The blade is marked with ‘Case XX’, the makers mark.
The knife comes with its original sheath.

The blade is 9.5 inches (24 cm) long.
The knife is 14 inches (35 cm) long.
The knife weighs 605g.

The knife is in good condition for its age and use.
The markings are all still visible.
The sheath is in very good condition for its age.
