The Minesweeper award badge was a World War II German military decoration awarded to Kriegsmarine members for service on minesweepers vessels. outer laurel wreath of oak leaves with the national emblem of eagle clutching a swastika (both golden coloured) at its apex. The central area features a representation of a sea mine exploding (grey colour).
The unmrked award has a top hook fixing and also a pin and catch fixing to the reverse.

The badge has a height of 2.2 inches (5.5 cm), a depth of 1.75 inches (4.5 cm). It weighs 30 g.
~ Condition ~
The award retains a fair amount of the gilt wash finish to the wreath, but a significant amount of the gilt has worn through. It remains in otherwise good condition.
