~ WW2 German M1935 Helmet Desert Camo ~
Here we have a wonderful untouched example of a 1935 pattern German helmet with desert camouflage and original strap and liner.
The helmet, one of the most iconic pieces of headwear from WW2 painted for use in a desert theatre. This example bears a faded decal to the right side.
The markings on the back edge of the helmet are faint but bear the mark 4650.
The helmet is made of a steel skull and a leather liner held in place by a suspension system and a leather chinstrap.
The liner is marked 32.
~ Dimensions ~
The helmet is 11 inches (28 cm) from the back edge to the forward rim.
The helmet is 6 inches (15 cm) from base to top.
The helmet weighs 1.29 Kg.
~ Codnition ~
The helmet is in a good condition for its age and use and has been left in an untouched condition.
The liner is in brilliant shape, supple and showing minimal wear.
The paintwork has some damage but is in overall good condition with over 50% of the original paint present.
