    ### NEW LISTING 4/3/16 ###

10TH GURKHA RIFLES FALKLANDS WAR KUKRI DATED 1981,

Front side of sheath and hilt has staining marks and so on but very clean blade and Kukri overall reasonably nice / nice condition.

Comes complete with its original sheath, belt frog, and both of its original chakmak companion knives.

This is a British Army MK 5 Gurkha Kukri that came with another 10 thGR Kukri .....
(Please refer our other listing) and a pair of 10th Gurka Rifles Shoulder Belt Plates.( The 10 th Gurkha Rifles was the Gurkha Regiment sent to the Falklands in 1982). Although not included in with the sale of this
kukri we have included a photo of the Shldr Belt Plates, and they are for sale if anyone would like one or both when purchasing this or the other 10GR kukri.

The Kukri has its original date stamp "81" for 1981. The Mk 5 Kukris were almost always a "Unit Purchase" from Nepal not showing a broad arrow, NATO stock number and so but either an abbreviated makers stamp and date such as "BG 81" or just a date stamp such as "81" as on this kukri...

Nice clean blade about cm long measured in a straight line.. the brown marks on the blade are grease not rust.

This is apparently a field use not a parade kukri. Although the back of the patent leather sheath and the side of the kukri hilt that would have faced the uniform is clean and relatively little in the way of marks ....the front of the sheath and hilt has a lot of what appears to marks, stains, and so on... with Falklands mud welded to it !?

You must be at least 18 years of age to buy this item.

Delivery UK £ 8.99 Signed Delivery. Will courier Worldwide... if overseas please email for a quote.

As a collector I like to treat people as I would like to be treated,if you are not entirely satisfied with a purchase you can return the item for a refund, but we do not refund
    delivery. Thanks.
