Create my profile now!A Belgian M1916 bayonet and scabbard for the M1889 Mauser Rifle. This has a blackened, shortened blade which was originally a 17 1/2" flat cruciform blade, shortened to just over 13". It has matching numbers "970" stamped on the cross guard edge and the frog stud on the scabbard. The number on the cross guard is "970.8.". One of the grips has what looks to be burn damage. (see White & Watts 'The Bayonet Book' item 97, page 26) This is not a common bayonet. The price includes Uk delivery. Sn 10880:65
