With twist polygroove rifled sighted barrel beautiful engraved breech with parallel mounted nipple, scroll engraved tang with circular medallion embossed 'Bentley's Patent' above the royal arms, and with long extension over the grip engraved, border engraved back-action lock inscribed 'Bentley's Patent' and decorated with scrollwork, characteristic hammer and blued mounts en suite, the latter comprising butt-plate and trigger-guard figured half-stock (some bruising see photos ) with chequered grip and fore-end, original steel ramrod. loverly tiger striping to octagonal barrel. excellent riffling.
