This is an excellent .295/300 Obsolete Calibre lever break action rook rifle. It has a 26 ¼” octagonal barrel with tooled flat top rib and measures 42" overall. The barrel's rifled bore has staining consistent with age & use. The barrel has calibre detail .295/ 300 and is signed by the maker or retailer ‘R. Raine Carlisle’. The blued metal work has even patina. The action has a lever with thumb flat which when depressed breaks the barrel for loading. The walnut stock is undamaged and the fore stock has a polished horn end cap. The stock has steel butt plate. The weapon has fixed fore and 3 leaf rear sights graduated 50-100-150 yards.
